SolarFlare collects as little as possible and uses what it does collect responsibly. This document lays out the full picture without corporate hedging.
Technical signals only: browser type, device category, general usage patterns, and session timing. We never request personal identifiers like your name, email address, or physical location unless you reach out to us voluntarily.
We use collected data to improve the game — fix bugs, tune difficulty curves, identify where the experience breaks down, and plan future content. That's the complete list. We don't monetize your data.
Your high score is stored locally in your browser. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it — and that's completely fine with us.
We work with hosting and monitoring providers bound by strict data-use agreements. No advertising networks, no analytics brokers, no data marketplaces.
Logs are automatically deleted after 90 days. If you want earlier deletion, reach out and we'll take care of it immediately.
Ask what we have. Ask us to correct it. Ask us to delete it. We'll respond with actual information, not delay tactics.
When this policy changes meaningfully, we'll say so directly on the platform. You won't have to hunt for what's new.
